I bridged two jl 10's from an alpine v12 amp and they dont seem to wanna bridge. they work fine when useing two channels and they work fine when i bridge one but not together can someone help

How do you have the JL's wired together? The impedance may be too low for the amp in bridged mode, sending it into protection mode. Most 2 channel amps are only 4 ohm stable bridged.

What is the voice coil on the JL's? Single 4 ohm? Dual 4 ohm?

The W0's are single I believe, I'm pretty sure you have it wire at 1 ohm, and the amp is in protection mode. Why not leave them at 4 ohms, they only need 125 to move?

If they are single 4 ohm subs, they are probably down to 2 ohms. If they were DUAL v.c. they would be 1 ohm.

After I said they were single, I then had dual pictured in my head, lol opps. Anyway, hes right about your amp most likey can't handle a 2 ohm load. What model is it.

to be real honest Im not sure. I know its an alpine v12 and its supposedly 500 watts. It says dc straight on it. I got it second hand from a friend. I dont know much about this stuff. But it sounds ok

Click that, and check how your W0's are wired. They are single voice coil right?
