They have movable tweeters...did that help any...i baught a set about a week ago for my dad's street rod...there in a custom door panel that puts them about knee level, but with the tweeter pointing up...they still fill really well.

Yea I noticed the tiltable tweeter hehe, that's beauty. I dunno, my dad says he knows how to fiberglass. I'm just worried that it won't blend in well with the rest of the door panel. Meh, hopefully by the end of the month I'll be buying a new car anyways.

If you are buying a new car, why bother messing with those speakers? I'd leave it alone until you get a new car. Save yourself some work.
