JL Audio 500/1

I passed up a jb600.1 for a jl 500.1, I thought since I need some extra's for the jbl, ill just go with a 500/1, so I did, Iam also excited because my RE8 gets here today(1:06am) so its friday and it should be here around 11. Maybe Ill post pics of the beastly 8

you MF'er!... i want a JL 500/1 for my Tempest.. how much did you pay? one of my friends has two of em, i tried to get one for $250 but he wont do it.

I got it for 250 plus shipping, so $270.
I cant wait, the thing looks so sexy, the insides look beefy also. The local JL shop here sells em for $539, that was awhile ago so its probly lower but not by much. Iam gonna go there soon, they have sells going on alpine cd players.

yeah. i usually go to bed around 4 am or so.... the JL 500.1 is a really nice amp.. ive always liked JL, but definately over priced stuff... with more and more companies coming out that are using top grade products and such and selling them for alot, Adire And RE offer the same level of products for alot less.. maybe even better than JL. JL is goin to have to lower their prices, but i know they wont suffer too bad because there are quite a few die hard JL people out there. ohwell, as long as they keep up their work and everything. everything should be good.

I forgot to add that the amp didn't have the bottom cover, the installed he had was made to show the insides off, and he lost it. I was wondering were to get this at, and how much would it cost? I was just thinking about calling JL, and going to the audio shop too, just wondering how big of a deal this is if any.

i have a jl audio 500/1

its sick man its powering a 12 inch alpine type x woofer

i bought my amp for 330 so you guys got hooked up i bought mine brand spankin new though

im skeptical about ebay but then again i bought my head unit from surroundsound off of ebay

hey were all getting good deals either way becuase the retail value is 700 dollars
