i spoke with re today and they told me what dealer pricing is and what my cost is. and it goes by a scale.

i thought the 2005 and up ones were good. thats the word around SIN, and tons of people use there amps there.

that may be with re but i have been told this same thing by people about other companies that i know to be untrue.....i mean lets look at this logically....who does more to promote the company, an average competitor or a busy shop? there are going to be obvious exceptions to the rule of course. im sure more people have heard of Scott Owens than have heard of Sound Solutions and im sure amongst people who are interested in competing this may cause them to take a second look at pioneer.......however im sure that most of pioneers money comes from the sale of hu's and not spl subs.....pioneer has carved out a niche for themselves as one of the top hu manufacturers in the world.....given that info im willing to bet that most hu sales are to people who will not make any further upgrades to their system than the hu itself......even more disheartening is the probable fact that your local wally world probably outsells your local custom shop when it comes to pioneer hu's.....pioneer being a big company has certain expectations of its dealers and they base their discounts on the level of commitment you make to them.......some companies structure their dealer pricing differently and under certain circumstances i would say it is possible to get better pricing through sponsorship than some dealers from some companies depending on the level of commitment that dealer has made to the company...........of course i tend to not agree with this practice as it (and this is no knock against you bill) seems to favor the guy with a couple subs and some amps over the guys who spend a LOT of money with any given company....
