If it has a fuse, and it didn't blow, then you don't have to worry about that power strip. It should be delivering all the power that is needed.

It's always best to use a powerstrip for protection, but if you need to plug it into a wall, then you need to. You are just more at risk to a power surge. You can't really have full power protection, but you can get real close to it with a power regulator. Those are expensive. I have power conditioners on mine. They mainly filter out noise and give a little cleaner power to my computers.

Your problems are no bother to me. You aren't asking stupid questions lol

ohh then that makes me wonder more about what the problem could be if the power strip isnt the problem. maybe the psu was? but it was working fine at my house.. oy.. lol... times like these i hate computers :P

Yea, I believe it was the psu. The hardest part is finding what caused the problem.
