Speaker in PVC

Anyone know if it would be worth taking out my front door speakers and putting PVC pipe in the door speaker holes and putting the speakers back over the PVC ( airtight) if it would bring out the bass? They are Focal speakers, thanks.

Ok so you want to put PVC pipe int the area where your speaker goes and then put your speaker where?

Take PVC, put a cap on the back side, sealed and put the speaker on the front side, sealed. Making a enclosure.

just use a wood baffle and have it IB, make a kick panel out of fiberglass.

the speakers are made for an infinite baffle setup. sealing them in a small container that way will make them sound much worse inf act.

If you want more low end from them, add an amplifier.
it takes an ample amount of power to make a driver move much air.

I have a A1200 Art Series amp running them and i did dampen the doors. I just thought the enclosure would make them perform better. They are not very loud.

Are you still running all the multiple speakers up front, or did you narow it down to just the Focals?
