I'm wondering if anyone here has made a seat for a car. If so how hard is it and how can I get started.

ya you can make one just depending on what you wan it to do. alot of seats for street rods are just frames with springs and then an upostery shop finishes them. you could get liquid acrylic and some molds and pour your own seat and it would be clear. dont use wood in your seat either.

Look at 5th picture from the very far right of construction photos here. Looks like some styrofoam carved to the shape they wanted then some fiberglass mat over top to me.
