You want an amp to run cool, no reason to let it "warm up". They only time I would even consider it is if your trunk is not 100% sealed and moisture gets on. If there is moisture on the amp and subs, reseal your trunk. Water and electronics do not mix well.
That being said, in the winter time you generally get much less output from your subs and they will not play many frequencies when it is really cold.
