I'd caution two things:
1) Within virtually any manufacturer are studs and duds - and even with respect to that, some truly excellent products rank pretty darn low on the "bang for the buck" scale, making them not easily recommended... and some ho-hum products rank very high on the bang-for-the-buck scale, making them easy to recommend, depending on the enthusiast, their experience, and their goals.
Speaking of which...
2) Depending on the enthusiast's experience, goals, and application - a product that I love may be completely inappropriate for them. I love highly detailed hard domes, and know the installation considerations in incorporating those type of speakers into a car. Other people, even hearing such speakers properly installed, find them harsh and aggressive.
Speakers - and perhaps no other component of the audio system LIKE speakers - are incredibly personal, and your taste and preferences depend highly on both your past experiences (which shape your perception of audiophilia) and your personal goals (ie. "where do I want to go based on what I know so far").
So again, I don't know the intent of this thread...
...but since the only "practical application" here would be to help you decide what speakers to use in your own car - I highly caution against such a simplistic thing that might skew your personal selection, even though it sounds like a great idea on the surface.
When shopping for speakers, there's really only one test - to listen to them. Sound wall, in car, whatever (although you really can't compare one "in car" to one "in wall"
) That way, it's your ears, coupled to your brain, which contains your experiences and your expectations, which are the most important components in your satisfaction, more than the speakers themselves.
