Anyone ever seen a double din in a Camaro?

Could you flip the heater controls to the bottom... and would that give you the extra room?Chris from Washington wrote:well, just took some measurements, and I don't see anyway to squeeze that in there. With the 6 1/2 depth of the unit, it would hit the hump. So it would stick out about an inch or so out of the dash.

That's what we had to do, but we were able to leave the heater controls in place, but it still looks do-able if you've got the room behind where the controls are now... You may have to extend some wires though.Chris from Washington wrote: if I make a custom trim piece.

The main problem with the flip out units, is I think when the car is in park. If it were to try and open the screen. It would actually hit the shifter, there isn't that much room from the head unit, to the shifter.
Plus I've never really cared for the flip out units, just personal preference I guess. I like how the indash has a more factory look to it.
I'll figure something out with this car, I have awhile before I actually purchase anything.
