Just remember if you get an XM or Sirius tuner for your HU - it's tied to the HU, meaning you can only listen to XM or Sirius in your car... unless you buy a whole separate receiver for your house, and pay for a separate account for that tuner.

That's why the portable tuners with docking stations are so popular - you only pay one monthly subscription fee, and you can listen to it wherever you dock it... car, home office... they even make portable "boombox" type things.

^like Geo said... If you want to have sat radio in the car... whether your parents have it or not... you will still pay for the additional account, so you have to keep that into consideration too.
It's not like having another TV hooked up in your house for cable ;)

age does limit your ability to make a binding subscription, such as phone plans and satelite radio, shit you cant even test drive a car let alone buy one on payment and credit. Age sucks in that respect.

ive got sirius, what i did was bought the smallest tuner they offered and removed the ass tray from the dash then cut out the hole for the tuner to sit in dash. then i ran the cable fromt he tuner into an input on the back of the deck.
