okay i'm going to buy an everstart maxx (or whatever they're called) battery sometime this week when i get my 20% discount sheet at wally world. how do i know what size to get, and is it possible to switch from side terminals to top/ im not sure if they have battieris with both, but if they do i'm giong to grab one.. put the factory on the side, big3 could connect to the top and i could also use the top to run wire to my amp, right? or would that be a problem ?

the everstart i have is both terminal you can convert your blazer to top if you want but you have to buy all new factory wiring. use the computer on the battery rack to tell you which to get i think its a g27 but i dont remember off hand.

My .02

Do the BIG 3 in 1/0, won't cost much more and it's all you'll ever need for future upgrades. Look into the KLM wire or call a few local welding supply shops for 2/0 welding wire as it's a little smaller AWG than audio wire. You probably only need 8-10'.

Do some research on caps, it just might save you some $$$. They're not very popular on most forums....

Well we agree on caps, but I'm curious as to why you say the BIG 3 in 1/0 is bad for your alt?? Please explain as I've never heard anyone say that before, but I'm always willing to listen....

Im sponsored by ohio gen and excessive amperage. and both told me u should use 4ga. if you use greater the stud on the back of the alternator acts as a resistor and can melt.
