They have been working on this damn thing since 2002...

I went over it this morning. 3 lanes each way. I was on the outside lance its got a bit of tilt to the outside... Scary...

That's pretty cool. They've been working on the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge here in DC since before I got here three years ago. The just opened up one side of it a few months ago. The other side of the bridge is no where near done yet. http://www.wilsonbridge.com/

wow, 5 years, and i cant wait for a 8 mile stretch of the freeway around here to be finished so all the local roads aren't in gridlock. It's ashame that those workers had to die on the job.

I'm just glad it's finally done... I don't drive over to the East side often, but the last few times it was a pain... That and this will definately help cut down on traffic on the surface street :)

Im just shocked they plan on keeping the other bridge right below it?

To me thats just tacky and makes it ugly...

I agree and I think that time will be the judge/ jury/ and executioner of that one... Right now it probably has more to do with the lack of funds that Toledo has, thanks to Carty (Glad I don't live in Toledo)... And now He wants to spend 2.6 Billion for Wi-Fi from an out of state company... At least City Council was smart enough to put that one on hold, since they have no idea where Carty is supposed to come up with the money for it.
