I just simply said not to think that Bush had anything to do with our lavish spending as a country. The national debt has been way over the trillion mark long before Bush or his daddy came along. Sure he didn't help things, but he didn't amass that debt by himself. So what you are saying is that we cannot hold Bush accountable for anything that has happened in the last 8 years? So he is not responsible for keeping the USA safe since 911? He is not responsible for the disarming of N. Korea in any way? Bush could not have possibly been an influence on the current housing market, or the banks, or the job sector?
As far as the banks...Why don't you ask the German Economy about bank loans for homes, there are more large German financial institutions that are hurting because of default mortages than you know.
