would these fit?

ok so my cousin is out of town and left his 92 Mercedes 190 E in my possession till he gets back.. well i was just bored and thinking of what my rims would look like on his car, im not sure on the bolt pattern, but they fit my truck perfect, no spacers/adapters or anything, so id assume they are pretty close to the 5x4.75 bolt pattern my 96 s10 has, i looked up the bolt pattern for his car and its 5x112, would my rims fit?

im runnin 225-40-18 in front and 245-40-18 in back, he has 185-65-15's on his.. whats the overall diameter for his? or could someone link me or tell me how to figure out the overall diameter like that?

well, youve got one wheel that is 18" with a sidewall that is 40% of 225 mm..or 90 mm .and one 15" rim with a sidewall that is 65% of 185 or 120.25 mm so overall the 18" rim adds a height of 180mm while the 15 adds a height of 240.5 mm

1"= 25.4 mm

180mm=7.08"
240.5mm=9.46"

so your 18" rim is a total height of 25.08" and your 15 is a total of 24.46"

so... would they bolt on and ride fine? i mean, ok.. so if i do take off his stock rims, and put mine on, and they bolt up fine.. how do i know if its OK to drive on em, even if they bolt right up? or, is it, since they do bolt up fine, then its ok to drive on em?

185 65 15 - 24.46"
225 40 18 - 25.08"
245 40 18 - 25.71"

i found this out.. so being that my rims arent really much bigger than his, do you think id have any rubbing issues?

and this will only be temporary.. i have to get him this Sunday night, so id probably only have them on til then, just so he can see it in person and maybe get some rims for it..

The hight isn't an issue... Heck at around a half an inch on the front it shouldn't make much of a difference at all... The real issue would be back spacing and having the tire rub... Try taking one of yours off and putting it on the front and turn the wheel to check for clearance (both right and left, front and back)... If there is more than 3/4 an inch at the closest section you'll be fine to drive.

I find this very helpful, you can compare 2 sizes of wheels/tires w/ offset and see how all of the clearances compare.

Is he ok with you switching the wheels? If that's what you plan on doing.
