step moms granddaughter

Hey gang, my stepmom called and said her granddaughter had her baby.

6 pound 14 ounces. Girl

Now here is the bad news the baby is addicted to heroin, they are giving the baby methadone to try to battle the addiction. Said it could be a year or more before it is out of the babies system.

The granddaughter is, needless to say, hooked as well.

Being a firm believer in prayer, Im asking you all to pray for the baby, it is so sad, the baby didnt ask for this. So please gang send a prayer up for her.

sorry to hear that man. Methadone works well to ween addicts off of heroin. The only problem i find with the drug is that heroin users then become addicted to methadone. It's a vicious cycle, but i hope everything turns out great.

Yeah I got people at work praying as well as our Church is praying. It is truly in Gods hands. I think it is a very good sign the baby lived. I know God can deliver this child.

i was put on methadone didnt help i have no clue how it will work on a baby
what helped was when i actually decided i needed to stop. quit cold turkey after 11 years

that is so sad though i cant believe what some people do to their children

Man i may get some flack for this but o well, I'm a firm believer that you should be able to do whatever the hell you want to your body as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. This kind of stuff makes me sick.

Just for the record i don't do drugs and i rarely drink, but that doesnt mean i dont think others shouldn't be able to.
