i am new to car audio and to car audio central.

What i have:
i have a sound storm labratories Force F200.4 200W x 4CH
and 2 C4 12" subs 700W 4 ohmin a enclosed box
plus a separate 12 aluminum eclpise sub

i dont know where to find more info on these parts?
or if i hook up the amp with the 2 C4 subs will it hurt or break them?

Any help or reference to a place that can give me more info on my setup is greatly appreciated thanx in advance.

Hey, first of all welcome to Car Audio Central!

Anyways, I looked on the SoundStorm website and it seems that when this 4-channel amplifier is bridged to deliver power through 2 channels, it will be stable at 2-ohms.

And if your subwoofers each have a voice coil that is of 4-ohm resistance, then they can be wired in parallel to 2-ohms, which the amplifier will most likely be able to handle.

Yea...and you can get all of this in a kit. It will cost less than buying individually.

Well what are the specs on your amp? Is it stable down to 2 ohms? Is it a 2 channel; mono; 4 channel?

Tedd, the amp is a 4-channel (bridgeable to 2-channels) and I am fairly sure that it's stable at 2-ohms.

So, I would say wire the subs to 2-ohms.

U sure? Not meaning to argue w/ ya but on most 4 channel amps, arent the individual channels able to go down to 2 ohms but once you bridge them they run at 4? I know my buddy had a 4 channel like that. Once bridged it was only safe to run at 4 ohms.
