Tornado's

Post by OnYrMrk »

Well,

We were hit here in Moore, Oklahoma. An EF1 hit my neighborhood and needless to say, we had some cleanup to do today. The house faired pretty well, but the fence is blown down, we lost a tree, and our neighbors had it worse than we did. We were lucky.

My family and everyone I know here in our addition didn't sustain any injuries, my car has a bit of hail damage, but that is ok considering what could have happened.

Overall, it was eye opening. Too bad they are predicting another round of Tornado's tomorrow and Thursday.

Damn joe, sorry to hear that. Hope the cleanup goes quickly. I will be back in the area this July if you need some help with the fence.

That sucks.

We narrowly avoided them. They ended up about 10 miles east of me.

Just come by and we can grab a Sushi boat together. The fence is going to be replaced by the neighbor's insurance. We have mended it fine for now.

Also big boy...you just come home safe.

I was watching the footage on tv at the hotel. Those storms passed through Branson but weren't that bad.

As they were showing the video's and pictures I thought about you because I knew you were in that area.

Glad to hear you're doing ok. :happy055:

I wasn't aware a tornado touched down on your side of town, glad to hear you and your family are alright! We only got heavy wind, rain and hail here on the other side of Moore. My dumb dog wanted to stay in the back yard and chase hail stones but I finally got him back in the house before the larger ones came down.

I caught the end of the hail storm on video raining down on my Scion. What upsets me most is that I had finally got serious about my install and had just put Dynamat on the roof two days before this and now has to go to the body shop. :argh

Yea, Robert, it was a small tornado that grew to an EF4 by the time it hit I-40 and Choctaw road! We got just the tail end of it, a few blocks north of us in Quail Ridge North sustained much more damage than we did.

I was in a tornado once. Yeah, and you were there and you were there and you were there too. And my house landed on this witch and crushed her. Yep. But her lower half wasn't crushed and was sticking out from under the house. Sooo... waste not, want not.

^^^LOL.

When I lived in Indiana, a pretty nice one touched down in my hometown about a mile and a half from my house. Hit our high school pretty hard and lots of people lost homes, we were lucky though it didnt hit us.
