these are my kicks i have in my jacked up z71 its a 1995 z71 short wheel base single cab 9 inches of lift,chevy crate engine i installed it,its called a 350 HO from summit it has a nice big cam,then i installed a hughes trans,it handles 450 fpt. i had these kicks custom made back in 2001 with my boston 6.5 pro's in them.the kicks are bomb proof we used to go mudding,drink beer and cruise dirt rds all night and they still look brand new.

since i have the WRX with all my stereo stuff in it i decided to do a low buck build in my truck and bought those polk 6.5 components for 107.00 they were in first place on the 2013 reviews.i haven't heard them yet but thats whats in them now.such a low buck build i don't have a HU. haha
yep theirs my bostons that i still have.14 yrs old.

i forgot to talk about the imaging thats the best part,the tweeters are on the a/pillars and it had the best imaging man,it sounded so good,every song the vocals were right in the center.i had two 8w7's in a ported box and it sounded really good.in a single cab truck the center stage was spot on.

i don't have a HU in their now but doing the low buck build,i have a pair of polk audio 6.5's in them they were the biggest bang for the buck on the 2013 reviews,and only a hundred dollars.i would really like to hear them play.probably sound better then my car's imaging..sad
