Boat audio install...help a noob out please!

Hey everyone I have never done this before, so this is that reason I signed up with this awesome forum. Only five minutes into looking around here, and I already want to install an amp and subs on my 98 camry. Love all the garage pictures too.

Let's get started with my boat though. I have had it about 3 years with a burned out pioneer stereo and 2 working 6.5 inch speakers (ts-g1647 150w 30 nom). From watching youtube videos, it seems that all I need to do is swap out the old radio with a new one in order to make it work. I don't have a big budget and I do not want to blow ppl away with my system. I am just looking for a nice sub with some good highs that has some good thump.

This is the stereo that i bought:

I kind of get the RMS watts and Peak watts after doing a little research. I am just lost when it comes to Ohms. I want to get either a 10" or 8" sub along with 2 more speakers for highs, but I eventually want to upgrade the old Pioneer speakers.

Would these work?

I don't really have any experience in boat installs. One thing that is coming to mind though is water. Will your equipment stay dry?
I believe Pioneer used to make equipment just for boat type installs, not sure if they still do though.

but if water is not an issue,
For the speakers, just get the 2 way. I've never bee a fan of those speakers that claim 4, 5 6 way etc.

For wire, if the amp accepts 4 gauge, I would use that. But if it only accepts 8, go ahead and use that. Don't forget to fuse the wire at the source.

For the amp, are you getting just 1 sub? I'm having a hard time finding the specs on the amp. I believe you can bridge it down to 4ohm, so if that's the case if your'e getting just one sub. Get a 4 ohm.
