looking for a good $350 sub & amp

I just got my system stolen the other day and I want to get something new and cheap. I am looking to spend about $350 for the amp and sub. I wold like a 12" in a sealed box and I was thinking of a kicker S10L7 and a 500w soudstream amp (RUB500-1). Just wondering what some of you would do for this setup on a budget...I got nothing from insurance.

That would prolly sound pretty good...get the sub in dual 2 ohm voice coils so that ur running a 1 ohm load off the rockford amp (dont worry..it can handle it)

Step two: Pay for additional insurance to cover your audio
Step three: buy the goodies!

Ditto on rdr4lif's sugguestion. Except I wouldn't run the RF amp at one ohm without knowing it can handle it. Safest bet is to get dual 4 ohm coils on the W3v2.

Yeah, I saw that you can get an even better deal with the elemental designs combos. I like that they are designed to work in really small boxes too. Does anyone else have comments on E/D subs and amps? Also, is this better than a $145 kicker S12L7 and a 500w Pheonix Gold actane amp or a 500w Soundstream amp, either one at about $200?

eD's older subs (A-series) sounded fantastic. They all had a major design flaw with the coil down in the magnet, so you don't want an older one. They have great sound quality and go fairly loud (for a daily driver). The Kicker isn't meant for sound quality but it will go pretty loud.
