Will the loss be actually heard or is it more in terms of SPL?
Will a Subwoofer with a freq responce starting at 20Hz necessarily sound better than one with a freq responce starting in 38Hz?
Will I not get a deep bass with the 38Hz Subwoofer?
I am looking for SQ... in general does it necessarily mean that a 38Hz Sub woofer will not deliver good bass and will not complement to the sq??
What is the way to go for sq sealed or ported?
I will be very thankful for any help...

it basically means that the lower the freq response the sub has the lower the box can be ported and it will play the lower freq. are you going sealed or ported? what subs are they? if it was my choice i would get the lower freq response cause i like the low low bass that makes your dash bounce.

As I mentioned above I'm more into sq then spl, not really into "making my dash bounce" :) is my perspective of things correct? Is the lower end of the frequencies 20-40Hz mainly to achieve spl?
no not really alot of spl cars are tuned right around 50hz its just the lower hz that are impressive. i would say if you want more SQ i would still go with the lower one cause it shouldnt be as loud as like a higher tuned box and it will be able to play almost all of the notes you need it too.

I got A LOT of HELP over there buy 2 great guys.
Just that we kind of went of the topic with them helping me with specific models.
