Suggestions on Offer

Post by audiobass10 »

Today i was offered an 18sx for $300 shipped which I will be able to purchase after the guy uses it in the MECA finals. I have been plannin on the 15sx new for $290 shipped. How much better is the 18sx than the 15sx? Also is it worth the money even though the guy is usin it in a competition? I was told he is not putting much power to the sub and also that your subs take more of a beating from daily useage than in a competiton. I just want some input from you guys on this. What would you do?

People turn up their systems to beyond their limits in competitions. I wouldn't recomend it.

Unless you attend the competition and help him install it and what not, I wouldn't buy it. Only if you know what you'd be getting should you consider it. Some people at competitions go through subs as often as you go through a roll of toilet paper.
