vr Xtreme sub? (all yellow)

Anyone know what I am talking about? This kid came to show me his setup today and it was some yellow sub. The surrond was yellow and the actually cone itself was yellow, like a woven carbon fiber look. In the middle it said something like VR (in small letters) and then Xtreme.

Then his amp looked like a cheap knock off of a lightning audio or audiobahn amp, it was chrome and had one of those circles where the cooling fan is, like lightning audios.

But yeah, anyone know what sub that is, or have heard of it?

Go to walmart and look in the "Car Audio" section, you will find the 15" $50 beast there...lol

Yep they are wal-mart. I think even the whole basket and magnet is yellow too. Did the install atleast look nice?

Xtreme is owned by DEI. I have an Xtreme amp and it worked great when I first got it....not so well now....When the volume is all the way down i get this "chsh chsh chsh chsh" noise from my subs. I've checked my grounds and power and everything is perfect. I don't think it's my subs.....help maybe? It hits hard when it wants to though and sounds real good.....then it starts to suck. They're ok I guess.

It might not be the same....I've never even seen yellow subs before lol.

Hmm...sounds like there could be an internal fault. With a cheap (no offense) amp, it wouldnt suprise me.

That amp was $200? Got ripped there. I got a Kickerkx600 for that much. I wish you woulda saved it, and you could've got somthing good :)
