JBL Power series amplifiers

Post by William from NOLA »

I've owned my JBL amps for almost 2 years now. I own the P180.2 and the BP600.1.

P180.2
This amp is very good. I have had no problem whatsoever or complaint about it. The sound quality is superb for the price. The performance is flawless.
The only thing missing is a remote bass knob (but I don't use mine for subwoofers).
This amp is very well worth its price.

BP600.1
This amp has been good to me ever since I found out of the RCA input trick. The RCA inputs need to all be filled (run one RCA cable and split it to occupy all of the inputs). Before, it seemed not very loud for the power and not reliable on the output. BUT with the RCA's filled, it plays exactly how it should. The amp is loud and clear. The sound quality is not as good as the P180.2, but that is the tendency of class D amplifiers compared to class A/B. The sound quality is still pretty good, if not great for the price.

I find this amp the best "cheap" solution. Don't pass it up and don't look any less.
