Most of you already saw the LED tail light conversion I did on the 4Runner. That retro was done using a premade Peterson truck module.
Here is how they turned out, looks nice and OEM.

Now my next project, see that small little lens under the brake lights. Well in the States Toyota didn't use these. They are just there, don't light up or anything. So I decided to make these into brake/tail lights too.
This was a little more work because there are no truck modules that shape.
So I had to cut my own circuit board to fit the housing. Then solder all the LEDs into place. I used 25 superflux LEDs for this circuit.

Here is the completed board installed into the housing. Now just sealed it all back up, and here is the finish product.

I think they turned out pretty good, and these also look OEM. When they are off, you don't even know they are there.
