I bet my wife and I are in the minority listening to AM radio!
We have Alpine 9813s.
She has a 03 S-10, antenna is on the fender.
I have a 96 Chrysler LHS; antenna is built into the back window.
FM reception goes from stereo to mono as your driving in both.
AM reception is so-so in the S-10 and real crappy in the LHS.
I had my 9813 in my old 87 Taurus for a while and it was the same result.
We live in Grand Rapids Mich so we are not even close to being out of range of the stations.
Our stock car stereos picked up these bands flawlessly.
On the plus side CDs still sound killer!
Any thoughts?
