REs or AAs?

Post by tomcat »

I cant decide between ths RE12 or AAs Assassin12. I will be using a PPI 2400.2 amp for power, 2x200. Or is their something better for that price range?

I was leaning towards the REs but when I heard they were being bought out it made me kind of nervous. And what I here about their "great" customer sevice didnt make me feel any better. But they did reply to my e-mail the first day.

I saw they were rated for 175w rms. Is 200w of power ok for that? And I forgot to mention they will be in a sealed box.

I can also vouch for the RE's. Very nice sub for the money.

Just run them in the recommended enclosure, and keep your gains low. They should handle 200 rms no problem.

?? Any reason for the hm? They may have been bought out, but their products wont change. Ascendent audio has been a lil shady, at least thats what I been hearing. Check over at SIN, their forum got deleted from there.
