Wow. What a difference!

So I got the new Pioneer Premier DEH-980bt installed last Friday. I can positively say that this unit is better than the Eclipse 8445. Just comparing the headunits alone, without any subwoofer using my stock bose speakers, the Pioneer sounds cleaner. Im still playing around with the settings but I would definitely recommend this HU to anyone. More details as they come in

I kept telling people last year that the pioneers sound better right out of the box but they didnt hear me. :)

Im a older Alpine fan from 2004 and before and of course Pioneer and Premier lines..

I was apprehensive myself at first, but I got so fed up with my Eclipse that I just said **ck it and went ahead and got it. I havent looked back yet

I havent had a chance to really try it out yet because as soon as I installed everything I went out of town for the weekend and just listened to cd's. I did try to get it working really quick but had trouble with the PIN. Gotta figure that out and Ill get back to you on that one.

The Pin is usally 0001 or 0000 I think
