Pyle Audio PLTVRDIN65 Big Problem

Hey guys, I just bought the pyle audio PLTVRDIN65 off a guy, used. Now today I was doing a bunch of install work, and hooked the deck in. All excited I opened up the screen, and what happens? The damn screen just flickers weirdly. Not so much a flicker, but really dark, with a slight flicker, and no sign of a startup menu or anything. Now my question, does this sound like the deck is broken, or does it sound like I hooked something up wrong?

I dont know much about car audio but try checking your grounds and wiring before you do anything else.

Sounds like the deck, but I would check your power and ground wires first.

Does the deck still have power, even though the screen does not?

If so sounds like the screen has a bad power inverter.

yeah, the deck powers up and all that, screen moves out fine, the picture is just messed up, is it worth it to rip this thing apart and try to fix it, or just junk it?

hey easy now.....im a dealer. jk they arent that good but they do have nice screens in my experience, im just not a fan of the hu functions.
