Hello All!
Hey everyone...i kno i havent been around much. Sorry if i let some of you down...haha.
Got my new FJ Cruiser (sorry capt. pioneer), and i love it! But its getting to that time...im itching for a car audio fix.
Im thinkin of leaving the stock HU in there for now and just installing a LOC.
First question: Are these easy to install?
Also, im debating building a 'glass box in the rear corner of the cargo area. In ryans tutorials, it says you usually have 5 sides and the 6th glass. What if you only had 3 sides wood...how much harder would it be to glass? Like if i had 2 corner pieces and a bottom?
Sorry if some of this doesnt make sense and TIA!
edit: Link to pics of my FJ Cruiser:

I'm assuming you're talking fiberglass and not actual glass or plexi, cause if the later is the case your going to have to much flex and all the additional bracing would be visible.
Sorry I don't catch all the threads on time.

Well the 6th side reffers to the more common glass box.
You can do it all glass if you like, providing you get the sir space close...
Thats the fun part!

Yea..i'd be doing fiberglass and not plexi or any of that shenanigans.
Ryan, any easy ways to 'guesstimate' how much airspace for a 'glass box? Im trying to keep the base less than 13x13, and i need approx. 1 cu.ft. for a single RE 12.
edit: Thanks justin! lol, i guess the look has an acquired taste. I absolutely love it, goes great off road!
p.s.- i see a lot of new members, glad to see the site is still growing!!!
