BTW, part of me is hoping for an OSU/UM matchup to expose BCS for the inferior system that it is.
Florida was considered to have the hardest schedule, Michigan was #3.
After seeing Florida STRUGGLE against Arkansas last night, them playing Ohio State would be ridiculous. Ohio State would cream them.
Why does Michigan deserve a second chance? Because they are the second best team in teh country. They only lost to the #1 team by 4 points. Did you watchthe game at all? In the second half Michigan shut them down. If the game was 3 minutes longer they would have beat them. Michigan has OSU figured out. They lost by 4, IN OHIO. Put these two teams on neutral ground and I guarantee Michigan will beat them now.
What will prove that the BCS is an inferior system is if they move Florida, THE #4 TEAM, up to #2 in the country. Michigan shouldn't drop from #2 to #4 just because they didn't play the last two weeks. I'm sorry, but if you are #2 in the country, and the 3 and 4 teams both have one loss, if you lose ONE GAME to the #1 team, you shouldn't drop behind teams with the same amount of losses who lost to lower ranked teams.
