Early Christmas Present!!

Post by Vindicate »

Just bought my early christmas present for myself tonight!! Bought a Powertech Performance Stage 3 Turbo Kit with ITS T3/T4 Dual Ball Bearing Turbo for myself!! Comes with so much shit. The kit offers 275whp at 7psi (prob what I'll run on the street), and 325whp at 10psi (track boost). Woo hoo so excited, I'll take pics tomorrow!

No work needed to boost to 10 PSI. Just need to retard the timing 2 degrees to protect against detonation. Some guy on his Spec ran 11.5 psi at the track all summer no problems. He ran 12.8 and 12.9 at 11.5 psi. I don't think I'm gonna do anymore engine. Prob just gonna upgrade the suspension and then do cosmetic shit from there.

Whats the car man
I wish I could turbo mine but the Mazda motor doesn't really like boost that much. At least not enough for me to wanna pay for it. I'd love to get me an old b18b motor and turbo it.

2002 Sentra Spec V. It's a 2.5l 4 Cyl. They handle turbos very well. No engine work needed, drivetrain is all pretty good.

if you got the new motor buddy has one and had to have his engine swapped because of the oil burning issue and the crank move the bearing on hard right turns.

Yea there are precat failures and butterfly valve problems. Solve precat by getting aftermarket header (or turbo), and loctite butterfly valve screws and you're good to go.
