Picked up a new welding helmet

Post by cargodz »

I picked up an autodarkening welding helmet yesterday finally... And man I love that thing... I know to most it's probably not a big deal, but when you're used to the old style, it really makes a difference.
That and I suppose I'm just that much more happy about it since I had a coupon and picked it up for $39 bucks when regular price is between $79 and $89 :D
I'll get a pic of it later, although it's pretty standard with only blue flame stickers on it.

Yeah I got the new mig welder too, a lot nicer than a lil hobby arc, but that's really not as cool as the Autodarkening Helmet :)
And dammm Terry at ten bucks a pop, I'm suprised you didn't offer him 8-9 bucks each and just buy the whole lot of them, you coulda made a killing on ebay... heck I woulda bought one from ya previous to now for $30 plus shipping and you coulda tripled your money on at least one :p

I think I would have a hard time trusting a $10 autodarkening welding helmet! Let some dork test it first I guess.
