I'm actually playing with a hydrogen system right now, although its on hold right now until I get my new stereo system installed.

I had it set up on my wifes car about 3 weeks ago and just took it off a few days ago. Its a 2004 Chevy classic 2.2l. We used the car on our trip to Florida and put almost 4k miles on the car. I had a few problems with the hydrogen system so I'm still working the bugs out.

When I first put it on I did notice an increase in power but I have yet to see a significant increase in gas mileage. But I still need to work out some bugs. And I only have about 50-60 dollars invested in it. Not the 600-1000 dollars that they sell on the internet.

I noticed on the guys website he mentions an interfaced used with the cars computer to accept the new efficiency of the hydrogen setup.

Thats probably the hardest part right there.

If you would like to share your ideas and such Im all ears. I would really like to do this for my fleet.

Bill & myself do engineering. I also have a fully outfitted machine shop at my disposal. Got it all from EDM to CNC everything.

I am a machinist by trade. I have run CNC and EDM for 13 years now.

The main problem we are having right now is getting the computer tuned. There are a few things out there that may work. The one we are looking into adjust the signal from the oxygen sensor, (I think). We are still in the beginning stages right now.

The system we are using look alot like the on from this web site.

Im not sure on spending $97 to learn what pot and resisotrs this guy is using. I guess I will search out some photos.

Looks to me the wonder box is simply adjusting the Ohms ont he MAP sensor... Fair and easy enough.

Systems is simple enough to figure out for the mechanically inclined I guess

Think im just gonna build one.

Well I spent about 2 hours total researching today.

HHO Generator:

Wire wound, close windings.

Perforated stainless sheets = more surface area= more HHO

(Look on e bay for ideas, lol)

Fire suppressor

No clue what its made out of, but $15 on E Bay and for sure $15 of insurance

Dont need any explosions!

Water Separator

Harbor Freight $5 special. Gonna pick it up this weekend!

Sensor Control

Im going to control the MAF sensor. Ive seen people plumb in before the sensor, but I want control. Circuit as follows:
25K Ohm Pot, 10KOhm resistor wired in series. Spliced directly into the MAF circuit on the wire marked VG or is variable Volts. Other side of circuit to chassis ground.

Amp Meter

To keep and eye on the generator.

Fuses

Im fusing my HHO generator at 20 amps for start and Im running 8 Ga wire.

Various plumbing, all at lowes.

Hoping to start construction this week.

I seen unleaded for $3.65 today. Insane.
