well i wouldnt have thought that an adapter was needed as the antenna plug was the same size as the plug in in the deck

So what brands have the best reception? My last two aftermarket decks were way worse than the stock units at pulling in radio stations. im getting ready to buy a new deck to put in my truck, and want to get radio reception just as good as the stock deck.

u have to go to an authorized dealer because there a proteced line. if its on ebay it has to be used. So I had allready bought the amp when you posted this.
