taking over payments on a vehicle?

I pay $100 month on a 9k loan :)

Damn, ya'll must be doing better than me.
Right now my credit is horribly screwed

so, I can't come close to that, When my credit was really good I was able to hit like 50month on a 7k loan but I thought that was rare.

It did.

At first I was really upset because I thought it was my fan belt squealing and my muffler dragging, but when I home and looked to under my truck I was reliefed to see it was just them under there....

The only way you can take over payments is if assumption is part of the loan agreement which is rare if not nonexistent on vehicle loans. Otherwise, you'll have to buy it for a price ya'll agree to, he's gonna want the payoff amount plus a little I imagine.
