kinetik batt
a couple months back i picked up a kinetik hc 2400 for a good price from a friend . he let me barrow his charger to recharge it . got it charged & installed about 2/3 weeks later it needed to be recharged so i picked me up a charger (not the same as his) and tried it . nothing , nada . i'm waiting on him to get back in town so i can find out what kind of charger he has . but i do know the charger i have will charge my hc 600 .

i thought the same thing . but one morning after work i had to get a jump start . got home checked all wires going to and from the battery tightened any lose conections . tried to start the car and everything worked fine the car started . problem solved so i thought . later that night i was getting ready to start the car and would you belive it was dead again . not sure if this matters or not but i was using it as a secondary battery . had to baroow a car to get to work that night . when i had some time i went through and run everything back off my main battery and just reomved the 2400 . if i could get it charged i would try it as the 1 and only battery to see if it was just too much for my alt to try and charge 2 batterys ..

it wont be too much unless its bad....start your car and put a voltmeter on it to make sure its getting 13.5+ volts, 14+ would be better and with everything off see what voltage its sitting at. Then put a decent load on it with everything off (amplifiers playing) and see what the voltage drops to, or just take it to autozone and have them test it
