I have an 06 model Audison LRx1.400 that will power your 4 subs very nicely. It is 900w@1ohm. Compact size, absolutely the cleanest sound you can get.
asking 400 for it.

here is a stock picture of it...not an actual picture. It was never abused as it was in a SQ competition car.

I'd hate to say it but the Sony I got ("class D monoblock") works pretty well. Although I got it on accident, and expected it to be crap because I've heard awful things about Sony, I havent had a single problem with it. One of my friends who helps people install systems on a different island came over to check it out and said its the best one hes heard yet. It claims 1100w max, 600 rms.

I don't have much experience with these things though. And I have a very acoustically inclined car. I'm sure there are better out there, but this one was pretty great for the price. (about 250$)

Wow, just makes me want to get rid of my Sony Xcrapolode Head-Unit even more. Just wish I could sell it for 300 bucks and get the Pioneer I want.

Well mine hasnt xploded yet, I've had it for 6months and usually push it pretty hard. But I'm just waiting for something to go wrong so I have an excuse for my wife to get a new one.

Interestingly enough the best head unit I ever heard was an xplode. Must have been about 6 years ago, mebbe more. Possibly some of their older stuff is ok?
